Megathlon! The
After a very short, restless night with terrible dreams and terrible rain, I was almost glad when it was 5:30 and I get up "allowed". on the road bike I've only once indulged in a banana and a load of liquid carbohydrates and maintained that a group arrived fast. From then on I was able during the entire course again and again to attach to passing groups or groups break up, so I followed the quick and offered me then as a single Starterin slipstream. I thanked Mallorca - the bite at the level of the 6 weeks I have been in the wind! It was great - the exact times are not yet published, unfortunately.
The change to the MTB was also good and partly because the track on tarmac at the beginning but was very wind-exposed, I grabbed the same one fast team starter and hung on. On all departures, I made many good places ... and 7km to the tar road, which I had to go on the way back on the MTB, I could attach a racing driver, whose team was very late on the road - perfect. My time was thus again reasonably well and Silvia (good friend from Frankfurt) and your friend Alex informed me that I 5th would be the 4th and runner has 10 minutes ahead.
Now I know me too well and know that I can bring on a 11km run course no woman with a 10 minute lead. During the first 4km I had incredible back pain, but I could keep the pace somewhat, but had to walk between them. From KM 5, it went steadily uphill, and finally I almost wish it would have been a half marathon to get single number 4!
congratulated the finish me then 2 single women and informed me that I am third or 4 was because they fall into the senior class. So I am Bodensee achieved my first podium and I firmly made:
- More body workout
- Consistent swimming and definitely a swimming club in Winterthur
- losing weight - if I can get with so many extra pounds this performance, I am I now really guilty in this regard to bite our teeth!

What comes next? Marathon preparation Inline technique training and the end of August, a sprint triathlon. When I'm mad again, I'm on 9.9. Stoneman on Challenge in Germany - Inline, road bike, mountain bike, cross country and normal course ... good preparation for the marathon as only the leg work ...
