the best surfing day of the week to!! I was meet with my "brandon" rewarded for the not so successful before: we were in Kudeta.
Maria and I were ahead of the groups from the camp in the line up - which is very good, as there are currently some difficulties because people no longer live in the camp "camp exploit knowledge" and the surf then go to where the groups go too. so good that we were independent of the groups already there.
the very first wave, which has come, I've taken the same and they almost to the beach (that is to shore break) ridden! and cooooole: as the wave is refracted to the right, I have the same one on the right-turn made - look left, I think "you have over, as it breaks!" and and and? have made a left turn and right again and left again!! to me is the first time succeeded in general, and then 2 more times in a row! Man, my knees have geschlottert, paddling all the way back when and I just thought 'I hope someone has seen! " :) And yes: the Wayans (one of my guides in the camp) was just on the paddle out and saw me and then praised "susi, i didn't believe it was you and then i saw your board you looked amazing! ?. Great board, by the way - who chose it "(he has chosen together with me;))
was what was a fitting conclusion of this surf week celebrated
we have in the evening with several cocktails at the camp, hihihi were. strong, and this time not to run with kuta - that we do to only very rarely have we promised ourselves ...
Saturday, 15 August
this weekend for the big RIP CURL padang padang surf contest was announced - because should be the HUGE swell. and it was right. we are at 10 clock in the morning set off the handsome surfer to evaluate, hehehe. maybe that was something! really big waves and has almost all the guys a barrel (the wave makes almost a tunnel where you can go) had - with almost EVERY wave ... Simply amazing! has won an Indonesian (was almost clear).
after 3 hours in the blazing afternoon heat and almost no shade, we were, accordingly, ko, and drove back towards home. some good photos and videos in tow.
Sunday 16 August
the boots-trip-boys are on saturday come home at night and we rent Mädls all have a barbecue invited. griller we do not actually have, but 2 pans tuns too:) there are fewer than 15 people have been there and we have loosely geschnippselt 3 hours in the kitchen, fried, marinated, etc. .. madness, maybe that was delicious! barbara and have judit fish and shrimp purchased in bulk - much too much ... but you never know;) was drunk, laugh, eat and surf-DVD looked on the side. A fine afternoon!
our current occupancy WG has now changed: barbara's friend Sarah has arrived and is now sleeping in the room at judit. barbara asleep for a few nights at the tobi neighborly bungalow, where Katherine and andi are. on Thursday and then travels from judit Barbara comes back to us. Madness ... Maria and I have already made a plan to end of September, when he who sleeps where and how. hahaha!
aporpos: the good Maria has moved their flight a month and will continue till the end september stay with me here:)) yay, I'm not alone!
Monday, August 17
Moni and Kathy are from a trip back to Lombok come and live now or a week in a double palm. funny - really pull out all the people from the camp here.
with the two Mädls tobi and then Monday we set off early to Jimbaran for surfing - the swell was still very large, so were rudi II, Canggu and the other spots just too huge for us. Jimbaran but unfortunately still too small - would have been possible only because swim. (
so on to the DISCO is a beach that I've never been - The girls, however, is equal to Kuta and a reef break and I do not.. booties with ... the waves are pretty far out there first, then paddling it was said.
were out there already other groups from the camp and most were beginners - tend to remain in the inside - we are merely married into our line up bad as this wave breaks! namely, that breaks pretty fast and hollow (tube-checked). so I decided to stay more on the shoulder and I tried my luck. aer only 3 times and she took me nciht because it was just too weak to wave. and there midtide was descending, it was very shallow there - you have seen this riff!
was then maria of the poor to disastrous. she angepaddelt one wave and the top is broken on it and has it with the head down the reef down - schurfwünden on the head and tidy schädelweh were the result ... not good!
I went with her out to the beach and paddled the driver from the camp we have to disinfect alcohol swab given. is before everything went well, but can quickly go ...
I am no longer pure - was too shallow and too far away;)
Tuesday, August 18
the same game: we are set off by 7 clock. Kudeta double checked, checked 6, kuta beach and have finally arrived back in the disco. after the head-on-riff-thing Maria did not went in and Katrina was not motivated to paddle that far. Moni and I are alone out - ALL ALONE! there was simply no one there - soooo cool. I know that I write now more often and it sounds incredible, but it's the truth:)
were unfortunately the waves is very weak and even with my really thick Brettl (quasi mega buoyancy) did have to paddle miserably strongly about it at all to . get but then she was nice - and I'm almost to the rock-driven, jipiiiii!
and because we were then but about an hour inside, we are then driven home for naptime. has lasted fewer than 2 hours. and then we set off again: target Canggu (oldman). ! Wahnsiiiiinn! First, many people and then also by the upper side in the waves! something from each other by the water - I can almost not explain. I'm 2 angepaddelt
waves - have both received great - I am fed straight but unfortunately at the first of a small boy and have the Indo times rammed loose board with my ... : Oh, he is immersed presence of mind and thus no one is what. also the non-boarded. lucky.
then we were all a little too wild and we are back went out - routinely duch the shore break:) pretty slowly at first anyway;)
